Hello, I have had proximal femur fracture 5 months back, underwent ORIF, plates and screws are still n place. I can walk freely now, however since 2 days I am experiencing a sudden pain in my hip joint especially while bending leg upward in 90 degrees from hip joint. Can you please suggest right treatment i should go for? Thanks.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Just take a pain killer like a tab. Zerodol-p twice a day after food for 2 days. It should be fine. If it still persists, get it checked out by a orthopedician in person for further evaluation and management. He will be able to help you further. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
