My daughter was suffering from fever for 4 days . Doctor suggested for Blood test , and the report says high WBC Count..its around 22,000 ...please do let me know what are causes of it,what are the risk of it?

High WBC count is usually suggestive of a bacterial infection in the body. It can be treated with antibiotics either IV (which is most effective) if the child is very sick or through oral antibiotics if the child is eating well and active.
