High total blood protein

Asked for Female, 39 Years

My doctor didn't say anything burning total blood protein was 8.6 and I'm concerned. I'm being sent to someone to discuss a high calcium level as well. But the doctor seems to think I may have a hyperparathyroidism issue and seeemed unconcerned about the high total protein.
