I am 25 yrs old unmarried and non pregnant. I got my TSH, FSH, LH &PROLACTIN checked. My PROLACTIN level is 68.43 ng/ml and FSH -2.28 mIU/mL taken after on 36 th day since my last menstrual cycle (delayed). I am concerned that if prolactin level may rise than this. Is it something to be afraid of??

If u r sexually active first do a pregnancy test..
And yes hyperprolactinemia cn lead to irregular periods , loss of libido , subfertility and other problems..
U need to start medication for it..
Rarely it may b associated with macroadenoma or microadenoma of pituitary for which u may need an MRI..
