High Fever and Night Sweats
Hello Doctor, My husband had high fever of 104 degree yesterday evening. He had fever yesterday morning and the day before also. I gave him DOLO- 650 and the fever came down. But yesterday evening he was unable to manage and hence took him to hospital. Doctor has prescribed medicines and they gave an injection as well. After the injection, fever settled down but he started sweating like anything. He had tablets at night and throughout the night he had sweats. Fever is completely gone after the injection yesterday. No fever now. Is it normal to sweat like this in this scenario? Kindly advise

Yes it's normal to sweat after having a very high grade fever. Sweating is a way in which body regulates the temperature variations. Not to worry about the sweating.
Next Steps
However if your husband continues to have fever , you can Consult your doctor and get few blood tests done to rule out any infections and get it treated.
Health Tips
1. To drink adequate water to keep himself hydrated. 2. Avoid spicy/oily foods 3. To take adequate rest.
