6 months ago my father has been diagnosed with bypass surgery and the reason behind it was high cholesterol. He does not have and drinking or smoking habits. But the doctor said it may be genitics. So I went to take a blood test and in the result my total cholesterol was 199 and ldl was 39. I don't drink or smoke and even don't eat junk food. But i am a non vegetarian but eat very less.I used to eat non veg fries on weekends. So yea,any suggestions can help me reduce my cholesterol. I've also started eating more fibre rich foods and stopped eating fries. By the way my age is 22.
