Male, 41, T1D So I tested at roughly 10pm. 24.1mmol/L. I took 1000mg of a tablet, Metformin. I took 24 hrs of slow release insulin (42 units brand name Lantus) and I took a full day of fast release (48units brand name NovoRapid). I just tested now at 1245am. 20.9mmol/L Almost no reduction. So I took another full 24 hrs fast release (another full 48 units). This is after having zero insulin at all for almost 3 weeks and is well and truly classified dangerous dosage. I am still high.
