Hiatus Hernia
Have just gone through hiatus Hernia surgery. Now I m unable to swallow food . It creates pain when I eat little bit of solid food. Is that normal? At times I m unable to eat extremely nicely cooked rice. Also I m facing problems in eating roti and other solid food like aaloo carrot and other vegies ... pls help me is that normal or how and when will I b able to eat food ? Jow shall I increase my diet as at times i feel hungry when I dont eat.

After surgery it is common problem. Go as advised by your surgeon who had operated on you. Starting from liquid die you have to gradually increase the solidity of your food. Take some antispasmodic like DROTIN tab in indicated. Do not eat or drink forcefully.
