Herpes infection
In July of 2013, my husband cheated on me with someone known to be infected with HSV-2. I tested positive that same month through a blood test. He tested negative. In 2015, I had my first outbreak. Over 2 years later. My husband was seeing someone else and he got his first outbreak while we were separated. He was the only sexual partner I had from 2013-2015. When we separated, I had 5 other sexual partners. How was his test negative but we both had our outbreaks the same year?
