Herpes in pregnancy
I have had 3 outbreaks of lip herpes in my 6 months of pregnancy. I used to have mostly 2 outbreaks in a year. But in this pregnancy I am having outbreaks more than usual. Is it anything to be concerned about? Would it affect the baby? I am not on any medication for herpes now. I have had acyclovir for 5 days thrice a week once.

On lips , it wont usually.
U were already getting it previously, so antibodies would have formed only.
Take treatment for herpes during pregnancy also.
Next Steps
if it is near genitals, to be cautious mainly before delivery
