Herpes in mouth
My baby is 9 month old weight 8 kg....is having fever for 5 days...with no other symptoms. .. My doc said it is something viral...after 5 days we got to know she is having herpes in mouth. ...dr recommended zovirex syrup 4 times...2ml each time for 5 days...I started giving that from sunday morning...on sunday I gave 3 times...but in the evening I felt baby was something bit unconscious...so I ddnt give it 4 time...neither did I give it yesterday... Now one of my colleague said me that I should not have stopped it...and completed the course. Now I want to ask u docs here...do i need to complete the course ...as she is better now and lesions has started healing....shall I start it from today again...how many days I need to complete the course...and how many times and how much ml should i give that syrup to my 9 month old having weight 8 kg... Is the dosage correct given by my paedritician...attached here is the pic of the syrup and its composition. ...
