Herpangina? Or something else?
My little sister has been sick for about six days now. Our primary doc suspects herpangina. She has an extremely sore throat and multiple painful sores in her mouth and on her tongue. She has had a fever for six days now. It peaked at 104.5 on Wednesday and has since been very slowly decreasing. it is down to about 100.5 as of this afternoon. My question is, how long will it be until we can expect her to be better? In addition, should we be concerned that her fever has lasted this long?
