My daughter is 3 years old. After comg from.school, she sleeps for 2 hours during the day time from around 4 pm to 6 pm. But she goes to bed late at night, after 11 or sometimes after 12 .
My concern is : Is it compulsory for kids to sleep during the day? What is the best time for kids of her age to sleep so that she has a good height growth. Also, what foods help in height growth. What are other do's and dont's for increasing height.

Day time sleep is not mandatory, but make sure for the uninterrupted sleep of 8 hr at night ,avoid junk food ,home cooked meals with proper amount of carbohydrate , protein and fibers should be given.
Hello, thanks for your question.
At 3 years, daytime sleep is not compulsory. Children need about 10–13 hours of total sleep in 24 hours. A late evening nap (4–6 pm) often causes late night sleep, which is happening in your child.
Try to reduce or stop the evening nap, or shift it to early afternoon (1–3 pm). Aim for a night bedtime around 9–10 pm, as early night sleep is important for good growth.
There is no special food that increases height. Give a balanced diet with milk and milk products, eggs/dal, fruits, vegetables, and regular sunlight exposure. Outdoor play and good sleep routine are very important.
Height mainly depends on genetics, along with nutrition and sleep. If your child is active and growing well on the growth chart, there is usually no need to worry.

If baby is healthy then don't worry about height as it will be as per parents height.Healthy diet is sufficient. And day time sleep not that much important but 1-2 hr sleep in afternoon will not cause any harm ,just avoid mobile,TV at bed time , Play soft lullaby and encourage sleep in night atleast by 10 pm .If baby gets good night sleep then in day baby may not sleep usually
