Heavy voice for my kid
Hii..my 4 yo kid is having throat infection (heavy voice)..nothing more than that from 8 days..one day he is fine and other day again the same problem.i make him gargle with salt water applying vicks and also giving steam every day..its not working properly .what should I do..is this the effect of sleeping in ac room..his weight is 17.3 kgs. Plz prescribe if any medication is needed

His throat needs to be seen It's a long time for pharyngitis Since he does not have fever and not a continuous problem It's better to evaluate the cause

Seems pharyngitis / may be tonsillitis but 8 day is long time No role of vicks or steam . Gurgle is ok

Hi, saltwater gargling is good , but a small kid can’t do it properly, use Betadin gargle twice daily, make her drink some(5-10 leafs) holy basil (Tulasi ) leaf extract with water twice a day, if symptoms persist get her checked by the nearest Pediatreation
