Heavy bleeding lasting for long time

Asked for Female, 23 Years

I am a female aged 23 years and unmarried. I have my periods going on now. But with heavy bleeding since 6 days. My report says that I have thyroid problem i.e., 6.5 and haemoglobin 10.6. What is the actual cause that is making to bleed heavily, is it related to thyroid or haemoglobin (iron)?
