Heart problem
My father is suffering from bp and diabetes since 10 years. His age is 72years . These day he is feeling some pain in chest bone (long front bone) . Doctor has advised him for angiography. But he is so scared so my question is....Is there any other test to find heart problem before angiography

Dear sir, first I need you to to know that being a 72 year old diabetic person is a high risk for coronary artery disease. To understand the coronary anatomy of your father we need to do a coronary angiogram. Don't be frightened, it is a very important test. If normal we will be able to relax. If he needs treatment then we have a good idea as to what is the best.
