Heart patient
My father is a heart patient. He had an angioplasty 2 years ago and a stent had been planted in one of the arteries. He is taking blood thinner medicines. So i want to ask if he can take omega 3 fatty acids (1000 mg softgel containing 120mg dha and 180mg epa ) and also if these sofgels have any bad effects on him .

Hi, The omega 3 fatty acids will not do any harm. But if you need to discuss any other issues regarding any other medication, then I will need more details. You can book an online consult on practo and we can discuss. Regards, Dr. Arijit Nag
