I was having pain near cartoid artery region so took cartoid artery Doppler after five weeks of symptoms i did my test after fiveweeks of onset of symptoms it came back normal but i saw in Google that if there is more gap between symptoms test Doppler can't detect the dissection is this true doctor do i have to go for any further tests plzzzzzzz tell me doctor is that statement true

Hi.. But why u think of carotid dissection only?
It can muscular or other cause... Carotid dissection can go aways after some weeks... So it is not there at present so it is good.. And dont think about rare diagnosis
