Headache from past 12 days
I have intense pain on right side behind my eye involving jaw and neck and occipital region of head. It has been there from past 12 days. It fades for a few hours in between or switches to other side but it has been mostly continuous. I've tried everything including hot and cold compress, massage, painkillers, Napra D (that I usually take for mirgarine), hydration, sugar, salt, etc. but nothing worked. I even had a migraine attack last night and got a voveran injection. Got relief from migraine but this pain continued. How can I get some relief from this?

Since your usual migraine medication (Napra D) and even a Voveran injection failed to provide relief, this suggests that your current pain is likely not a typical migraine. The involvement of the jaw, neck, and the occipital region (back of the head) strongly points towards Occipital Neuralgia or a severe Tension-type Headache triggered by cervical (neck) muscle strain. In such cases, the pain is often 'referred' from the nerves in your neck to the area behind your eyes and jaw
Next Steps
Nerve vs. Vascular: Migraines are primarily vascular/neurogenic, but Occipital Neuralgia is caused by the irritation or compression of the nerves that run from the top of the spinal cord up through the scalp. Voveran helps with inflammation but might not 'quiet' an irritated nerve. The Neck Connection: Stress or poor posture can cause the muscles at the base of your skull to tighten, pinching the nerves that supply the back of your head (occipital region) and referring pain to the front (behind the eyes). Jaw Involvement: This can sometimes be linked to TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) dysfunction or simply referred pain from the same nerve pathways that supply the neck and head.
