Hello Jyoti ji. Daily headache ka reason sirf cervical issue hi nahi hota, kabhi kabhi stress, anxiety, overthinking, poor sleep, screen time, posture ya muscle tightness ki wajah se bhi headache frequently hone lagta hai. Aap jo bata rahi hain ki “sirf sochne ya sunne se headache start ho jata hai”, usme stress-related or tension-type headache ka component bhi ho sakta hai. Physiotherapy mein posture assessment, cervical muscle tightness evaluation, breathing relaxation techniques, neck exercises aur stress relieving therapy kaafi helpful rehti hai. Agar cervical stiffness, upper back tightness ya prolonged mobile/laptop use hai toh uska treatment bhi zaruri hai. Saath hi hydration, proper sleep aur eye check-up bhi important hain. Agar headache ke saath vomiting, dizziness, blurred vision, numbness ya severe migraine-type symptoms ho toh physician/neurologist consultation bhi karaiye.
Next Steps
Get cervical posture and muscle assessment done • Start neck stretching and posture correction exercises • Reduce continuous screen/mobile time • Maintain proper sleep and hydration • Consult physician if headaches are severe or increasing
Health Tips
Painkillers frequently lene se kabhi kabhi rebound headache bhi ho sakta hai. Stress management, breathing exercises and regular physical activity can help a lot in long-term relief.

Your symptoms suggest tension-type headache with a strong cervicogenic and stress-related component That’s why: • Headache starts when you think about it • Triggered by focus or discussion • Associated with neck muscle tightness Physiotherapy management: • Cervical posture correction training • Deep neck flexor strengthening (chin tuck exercises) • Upper trapezius, levator scapulae stretching • Scapular stabilization exercises • Myofascial release / trigger point therapy for neck muscles • Breathing exercises and relaxation training What to do at home: • Maintain proper sitting posture (screen at eye level) • Take breaks every 30–40 minutes • Do chin tuck exercise 10–15 reps, 2–3 times daily • Practice slow deep breathing for 10 minutes Avoid: • Slouched posture • Excessive mobile/laptop use without breaks • Repeatedly focusing on headache symptoms This condition is very treatable with structured physiotherapy and relaxation techniques If needed, I can guide you with a detailed daily protocol Dr Rajesh Pal, PT, PhD
