Head Injury
My cousin brother (Age 13 yr) got a head injury after that he lose weight. Earlier he has a weight of 30 kg which get reduced to 20 kg and has become very weak.

Whether you brother had associated vomiting, Loss of consciousness or seizure after head injury.
Head injury might be not the cause of weight loss, we gave to investigates for other cause.

Loss of appetite and/or weight has NO relation to head injury,UNLESS brain trauma has occurred,in which case he'll have other symptoms like vomiting and altered consciousness or behavior.
Consult your paediatrician for physical examination and investigation for further management.
