HCG test Negative...

Asked for Female, 22 Years

My girlfriends periods are missing...its has been already 15 days late...her period starts on 28 of month and due on 29th day of next month...from the past 1 year she never faced problems in periods...2 months back we had unprotected sex and she took i pill on time...first month she got periods on time followed by mid cycle spotting in the middle of the cycle...now the 2nd month is missing...and its 15 days late..the HCG test is showing negative ( control ) daily from past 10 days. Why is this happening ? Is She Pregnant ? Please describe briefly. Thank you.
