Hi. Afterabortion pills Ultrasound is mandatory after 2 weeks . At that time Beta Hcg should be negative .

After medical abortion normally we don’t monitor with beta HCG but we do need to check by usg routinely to confirm whether uterus is empty or not.but of beta HCG is done and positive then should be monitored serially till negative

Beta Hcg levels decline usually in a week to 10 days post abortion.However if the pregnancy test is still positive its usually due to incomplete abortion or retained products of conception.
