HCC treatment
My father had liver resection Dec2016 due to HCC since the tumour was near portal vien His left lobe was removed. Now again tumour is developed at same location close to portal vien since margin got that time was less. He was hving hep c wich was cured by medication, viral load was nil b4 the surgery.
Now dr is saying resection again cut portal vien for good margin. another doc is saying go for TACE. Sir can u pls tell efficiency of tace coz i hv heard tat it js shrinks tumor dont destroys it
