Recently doctor told me that I have Hbsag is positve thru blood check up reports.i took LFT where all are normal.sgpt is 50. I am male and 30 yrs old.please suggest me what to do. We are trying for children with iui donor.my spouse is under treatment of Hbsag vaccination . Last month doctor has given first dose remaining dose is in this month ,and

Once HbSAg positive, needs regular follow up every 6 months with your liver function tests and ultrasound, consultation with physician or gastroenterologist. Follow strictly barrier contraception and avoid blood donation to avoid transmission to your partner or others. Also when ever you visit any lab or hospital kindly update them with this information so that they take steps to avoid transmission or contamination to others . HbSAg is transmitted through blood and is also STD , not transmitted by touch or food .. If regular precautions taken it is not so dangerous like many other diseases. Good luck.
