Having trouble sleeping
My wife aged about 47 has been having trouble sleeping for the last few months. She has also been losing weight. On physician's advice we checked thyroid & blood sugar and the parameters are normal. Alongside she has developed a tendency to worry too much. These symptoms are also common with my father in law so my wife rationalizes it as a hereditary issue. To get a diagnosis who should I contact? I have tried doctors in general medicine but that has not worked. Should I see a neurologist or a psychiatrist or some other specialist?
