Harder breast
Hi. 3 days back I gv birth to a baby. Frm yesterday my breast has become very harder and tender. My baby not taking my breast even iam not able express it out with hand or breast pump very harder. As it is very very  painfull. I did hot fermentation also to soften breast nothing is working out.no fever noticed could you plz adive

Please consult the Gynaecologist who was looking after you during your pregnancy. The nursing staff there will help you with the manual expression of milk from the breast after which the breasts will become soft. But it may take a few days. No short cut treatment.

This is breast engorgement Use a good quality breast pump n express extra milk

Give proper  Hot Formentation  ,take a Paracetamol  tablet  half  an hour before  and express breast milk.If still hard,visit your  doctor .

U have to express milk, take help from others as it will be too painful to do it by yourself. If u don't do it ,it can have serious complications like breast abscess that will require surgery
