Hairfall after coming to Bangalore
I am from Odisha and for the past one year I have stayed in Delhi. After few months of coming to Delhi my hairfall started and it got gradually thin. And recently I moved to Bangalore last week and after reaching here the hair fall problem got severe. The amount of hairfall increased exponentially and haies got thin and I could literally see my scalps. I use parachute coconut oil and no particular shampoo. I have used Head and shoulders, Patanjali and now using tressemme. Don't know what to do. Kindly suggest anything.

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin.
