Haemoglobin levels during 9th month

Asked for Female, 29 Years

Hi All, I am 36 weeks 1 day pregnant. I am having thalassamia trait. My haemoglobin level is 8.3 and as per dr suggestion, I have taken blood transfusion of 1 unit followed by 1 iron injection thru IVR. Can you please confirm how much haemoglobin level will now increase and in how many days so that I can cross check by doing CBC test.

One unit of PRBC transfusion, raises circulating HB by 1 gm/dl. repeat cbc should be done after after 3 weeks after blood transfusion or iv iron.
