Haematology
For a week now, am feeling tired and eyes irritated. Bit weak as well, sleeping early. Sometimes have headache as well. I am a non-veg, occasional drinker and quit smoking recently. Consulted a GP who advised CBC test apart from Vitamin B 12 & Vitamin D tests. The test results revealed everything within limit except Platelet count is 109000. Was advised repeat test after a week for diagnosis, have Limcee thrice daily till then. What should I do now?

There may be a possibility that you recently had a common flue or a viral prodroms that was mild and has resolved spontaneously now, leaving that bodyache and low platelet count. Go on with the advice of your GP. Repeat complete hemogram after 7 to 10 days. Also, in case you get a spike of fever/ body rash/abdominal complaints/ nose bleeding/black stools, then go for the test immediately. If not, then you need not woort, you have recovered now and should be fine in a week or so. Just keep eating healthy and have a plenty of water  avoid smoking and alcohol, atleast for this month totally.
