Gynecology related - PCOS doubt
I had been diagnosed with PCOS at age 14. I used to have periods once in 90 days. I was told to make lifestyle changes but nothing helped. Then at age 21 (March 2019) I was prescribed Krimson 35 for 3 months and asked to get an ultrasound after that and then stop medication. From the month I started medication my periods became regular and I had a 29 days cycle. After 3 months I had an ultrasound taken and my cysts were completely gone. But I did not stop medication as I was in college and was worried the stress of delayed periods would come back. So I have been taking this medicine from March 2019 till now and I want to stop it now. I am in the middle of my current medicine pack, and I start a new pack on the third day of every period. Is it safe to stop the medicine now? Can my cysts come back if I stop? My last ultrasound in 2019 showed I have no cysts. Is it possible that that might have changed by now? Please advice.
