Hi, my wife is now 2months 1 week post pregnancy. She is having pains in hand similar to having vit d3 deficiency. She had 12.3 mg/ml june 2020. She used zotacol plus which contains 200iu of vit d from 4-9 months in pregnancy time. Recently from 1month she is having the same pains. She used same tablets zotacol but there is no improvement and she stopped from 2 weeks. Can she use cholcalciferol capsules 60k for four weeks as she is also breastfeeding how much vitd iu is acceptable. Please suggest me as we can't go out and take test of vitd due to pandemic.

Hello dear
Cholecalciferol capsules can be used but before that, I suggest you to get VitD3 levels done first which will give a prompt idea about the levels according to which treatment can be planned.
Next Steps
If D3 levels are significantly low, only tablets would not suffice.
