My mother (48year )had severe bleeding she undergone USG n biopsy the report show that her uterus is mildly bulky (8.9×5.4×5.7cm) & left ovary has 2.8 cm follicular cyst with septation ..the TVS (biopsy ) is normal(endometrial thickness is 6.6mm ...the doctor gave her antibiotics for 21 days ..plz suggest is hysterectomy needed or not ? What can be the cause of bulky uterus ...?she has no fibroids as well plz help

Bulky uterus could be due to multiparous status. If the biops is normal then she can be given medications for controlling heavy bleeding. Mirena can be another option
