Gynae Problem
My wife's ultrasound has reported both ovaries show small peripherally arranged follicles with thick echogenic stromasuggeative of polycystic ovarian morphology and mild free fluid in POD. Please let me know if it can be an effect of an emergency contraceptive pill taken 8 weeks back? She has not had her periods though the Beta HCG blood test taken twice shows reading of 0.15 miU/mL. Any chances of pregnancy? What should we take care to ensure good health?

Polycystic ovarian disease is a multi system disorder... it is not the side effect of any emergency contraception pill ...it is just that it has got a little more aggravated and you are correlated it with the intake of emergency contraception pill... you can consult with me directly online for a detailed management regarding the same
