I am currently 36 weeks pregnant & Ive noticed my gums on my four bottom teeth are loose, red & bleed everytime i brush. I really don't know what to do & am scared as i don't want to loose any teeth but at the same time can not afford to go see a dentisit. How can i fix this?

Hai...some ladies get this problem during pregnancy...no worries.. get a cleaning done with your gynaecologist permission...meanwhile you could do salt water gargling but take care not to swallow salt water....spit completely...

You can get an oral prophylaxis done i.e a scaling from a dentist which is absolutely safe but an opinion and a written consent with your gynaecologist is a must. As of now,use a very soft toothbrush and rinse with lukewarm water and a pinch of salt,you may also use metrogyl DG gel over the gums but again with the consent of your gynaecologist.
Because of hormonal changes it happens its normal called pregnancy induced gingivitis. Visit a dentist and get your oral hygiene check. If needed get a scaling done. After the delivery it will subside
