Dear, Thank you for sharing the image. Based on the photo, the growth appears to be: 1. Operculum (gum flap) over the partially erupted wisdom tooth 2. Possible pericoronitis (inflammation around the partially erupted tooth) Recommendations: 1. Schedule a consultation at Gupta Dental Clinic, Giridih, for thorough evaluation. 2. Bring your son's previous dental records/X-rays, if any. Possible treatments: 1. Monitoring the growth 2. Antibiotics (if infected) 3. Surgical removal of the operculum 4. Extraction of the wisdom tooth (if necessary) Advice: 1. Maintain good oral hygiene 2. Use warm salt water rinses to reduce inflammation 3. Avoid chewing hard or sticky foods Best regards, Dr. Pratikshit Anand

Dear patient, in reference to the picture you attached, looks like your son has his first permanent molar erupting. The visible gum structure is nothing to worry about and will get back in place once the tooth erupts. If he complains of pain the related area, please advise warm saline rinses and it should resolve on its own. Take care
Next Steps
maintain good oral hygiene by brushing twice a day

Its nothing to worry about condition as per erupting tooth he is 6-7 years of age so, its just the 1st molar is coming up into the oral cavity, so minute gums is left ,when it will fully comeup into the cavity there will be no gum structure left over that portion which is rightnow your concern.
Next Steps
just make him brush twice a day especially in that area
Health Tips
dont let anything stuck in that area, if ever get stuck anything let him brush, or sqish or rinse with normal water
