Gum recession
I have gum recession in 2–3 lower teeth, and there’s inflammation that bleeds when brushing. One tooth also feels slightly loose. I’m aware I may need deep cleaning or gum surgery. I want to know: – Can gum recession be reversed or stopped? – Will deep cleaning help tighten the loose tooth? – Is gum surgery painful or does it require anesthesia? – Approximate cost for these treatments? Also, I’m looking for a gentle and budget-friendly dentist in the Mohali/Kharar area who can explain everything kindly and not rush me through the process. I get nervous easily, so someone patient would be really helpful!

Gum recession in the lower teeth can occur due to various reasons, which should be carefully evaluated using radiographs taken from multiple angles. While deep cleaning may provide temporary relief from some symptoms, it will not reverse the gum recession. Effective treatment requires a comprehensive approach that may include root planing, curettage, and potentially periodontal surgery. However, it’s crucial to first identify and address the underlying cause of the recession and any associated tooth mobility to ensure lasting results.
Next Steps
Keep the area clean and not let food get accumulated, splinting the tooth may give a temporary relief
Health Tips
Don’t bite very hard from the front teeth and warm saline rinses will help a little

Hi! Your symptoms suggest gum infection and early bone loss. Deep cleaning (scaling & root planing) is needed, it's done under local anesthesia and is not painful. It can help reduce bleeding and may stabilize the loose tooth. If needed, minor gum surgery can be done later. Please consult a gentle dentist in your area soon for proper care.

Hi there, ma'am first of all, you don't need to panic. Lower anteriors are most site for recession and class 1 stage can be reversed in majority of cases after scaling[cleaning] or if the condition os worse you can still go for cleaning as it would help you maintain and improve the current condition to certain state.. If the condition is worse we have repositioning surgeries which is performed under local anesthesia making it painless.  For scaling it costs around 700-1000 on an average.
Next Steps
so as a next step you can go with full mouth oral prophylaxis and if the gingival [gum] inflammation is too worse you need to take medication so that it heals back to normal state.
Health Tips
Try to avoid food lodgement in lower anteriors specially near the mobile tooth and please don't use tooth pick or other sharp objects to remove food debris. I hope i have answered your query or if you need more assistance let me know. Have a nice day.
