Gum infection cannot be treated by mere antibiotics ...visit periodontist gt ur tth cleaned start wdh oral hygiene regimen..revisit n den accordingly depending on the condition further treatment can b decided

I have no clue what you mean by gum infection. However, for any gum infection to be cured completely, the cause of infection has to be eliminated. The cause of infection is generally local deposits (plaque, calculus or tar tar, food debris etc.) and these have to be physically removed to get rid of the infection. From what you have mentioned, i take it that you have only used medication and have not seen a dentist. Medication will give only temporary relief, as the cause of infection is still there in your mouth.
