GUM EROISN AND TOOTH PAIN

I am taking medicines afterheart bye pass surgery for 16 yrs. i am getting gum swelling and pain. Dentist opined no decay and gum swelling only. is this due to taking avas5o and diabetic medicines etc. advise me

Long term medication can cause swelling in gums . To prevent this you have to increase the levels of the maintenance of oral hygiene. Do professional cleaning of teeth every 6 monthly.
