Gum/ear infection

I’ve been having problems with my gums the last week,I went and got some bonjela,ibuprofen and special mouth wash,it seems to have helped. This morning I was woken up with a sore left ear. I’m just wondering if the gum infection has spread to my ear or if it’s something else?

If the pain in the gum is spreading to the areas around the ear , then the gum infection is spreading , nd cross nerve innervations can cause pain in ear but no direct spread of infection to the ear ....visit a dentist to get the proper diagnosis nd treatment
