Got diabetic when I was 8 month pregnent
In my 8th month of pregnancy I my sugar level was shooting up and since then I m having gestation diabetes and now it's 15minths post pregnancy my diabetes has not been cured. GST diabetes gets over at the time of delivery but I'm unfortunate that it is still there. I have no history of sugar and my parents also don't have it.

In some people, the diabetes persists beyond delivery and it is then called type 2 diabetes. Its not uncommon. Also, it is not necessary that your parents should have diabetes for you to get it. A lot depends on your diet,  exercise, weight.
