I am 37 wk 1 day pregnant...have gdm nd taking 500mg metformin...from last week my some readings going much higher like 160-170 ....even i am on same diet as before...whats the reason for it?

Its quite possible that the sugar levels rise towards the end of pregnancy even with the same diet. Your medicine dose will need to be adjusted accordingly.
