Gestational diabetes
Hi I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes in my 26th week. My fasting sugar is between 100-110, and post meal 1 hour it is less than 150 but 4-5 times in a week it increases to 195 but below 200 always. Doctor recommended Gluconorm 500 mg daily after breakfast and dinner Is this safe in pregnancy or can I avoid this medication according to my sugars ? Can someone pls guide me if this is safe to take in pregnancy?
