My wife recently found a few bumps near her vagina and anus. As we had a miscarriage last October, we went to a gyno. However, the gyno suggested seeing a dermatologist and then we learned that this is a STI and is called genital warts. We never have had sex with a third person, and if I don't have this, how could she be infected? Can she be infected due to the instruments used during miscarriage surgery? Is this something to worry about? Is there any permanent cure for it? Does this cause any issues if we plan a pregnancy again? How likely am I to get infected? What tests can be used to determine the stage of the infection?

Genital warts generally doesn't cause any serious health complications..the strain of HPV that cause warts is low risk..mainly it's cause cauliflower like growths and might be change in flow of irine , itching and bleeding form vagina or anus ..it can be passed from person to person during vaginal and anal sex .. continue medicine..might take more time ..
