Genital TB
My wife undergone laproscopy for endometriosis cyst. But the cyst in tubes were sent for TB PCR and came positive. Started on ATK4 but after one day resulted in vomiting. Doctor tried different combo to know which was causing the vomiting. It came out to be RCin (Rifampicin) . What should be next steps. Isnt all the 4 medicines conbination needed for proper treatment. Right now on other three medicines only. Can you give some idea. Also, read somewhere online that side effects include the feeling of nausea or vomiting not actually having that. If having vomiting then there must be some other problem. Liver function test all normal. ESR 60. Let me know please as soon as possible.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Nausea and vomiting is a very common thing when a patient takes anti tuberculosis treatment. Whatever you read online is all bullshit. Do not trust each and everything that you read online because most of it is posted by illiterate people. Consult your physician again regarding this. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
