My 4.5 months old daughter is having gas discomfort since the beginning. We have tried home remedies (tummy time, massage, Hing application) and medications (Colic aid, bonnisson) but nothing has been of great help. My nub cries while passing gas out and is not able to sleep due to this discomfort. I am off dairy products from last 3 months and limit my intake of food that can cause gas still I don't see any major changes.
I need to know any effective treatment and also advise when would this settle?
Do I need to start solids early to lessen the dependence on breast milk since that is causing the gas formation.
