Sir no need to worry ,as he grows the tooth size will also increase . This is the physiological space which is temporary ,after years there will be no space left. If the tooth is grossly decayed then only extraction is to be done. And sir it’s just the natural phenomenon of growing new permanent teeth behind the milk one.

At this age the gap is pretty normal in order to accommodate the permanent teeth which are yet to come and bigger in size than milk teeth. This stage is called ugly duckling stage. If you are still worried it's better to consult an Orthodontist. He/She will tell you if there's any need of early intervention.
