Gallbladder stone
Hi, I am a 23 year old female and I am going to undergo Gallbladder operation for gallstones. I wanted to know how long after the operation can I smoke? And drink? And if it will have any adverse effects on my recovery.

As Gallbladder stone is usually a Lap.Surgery,so down time is 1-2 days ,but complete recovery and perfect feeling of normalcy comes slowly;if you continue smoking and drinking it will cause gastric upsets ,nausea etc. so it is better to avoid drinking/smoking for at least 1 month;and after that it should be moderate for 3 months-Otherwise you can connect me on 98110316 5 6 for other details (No Charges )

Hello. Drinking and smoking is always injurious to health both mentally and physically . It's better to quit it at once.

You will be given medicines for few days. I would advise to refrain from alcohol for the duration of your medicines . Same for smoking. All the best
