Gallbladder removal
Hi docter, My wife has multiple stone in her gall bladder max size of stone is 11mm. Doctor advised us to go for surgery? The insurance has a waiting period of 2 years for the coverage, it's 1.4 years now and 8 months to go. Can we postponed the laparoscopic surgery for another 8 months, as she doesn't have any side effects right now.

You are weighing your luck against the gall stones. If she is symptomatic consider the surgery right now. Smaller stones tend to slip and the complications associated with them are risky. U might get away on one hand or may get caught in a tricky scenario. All the best
