I have acute pancreatitis in Jan there is no evidence gall bladder sluge after 3 month taken the mrcp test shows gall bladder sluge and mild inflammation in pancreas doctor suggest to remove the gallbladder I am worried kindly suggest the if without removal of gall bladder and reduce the pain.

Pancreatitis pain usually reduces on its own most of the time’s but the risk of recurrence or severe pancreatitis is the reason why primary cause should be treated. It is possible to find out whether gall bladder is diseased and if yes, then it should be removed.

Please share ultrasound report and maybe get an endoscopic ultrasound to be sure if GB is indeed diseased.
